Chestnut honey

Chestnut honey has a dark amber color, with a strongly aromatic flavor tending towards bitter. It has a rather liquid consistency due to a richness in fructose, which is why it is more difficult to crystallize. Ideal in combination with mature cheeses with an intense flavor such as pecorino romano.
